Terms of use

These terms of use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the household budget service "Our Ledger (うちの家計)" (the "Service") provided by bitdog ("we"). By using the Service you agree to the Terms. If this translation differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Accounts
Register with accurate information and keep your login details safe. If you suspect someone else is using your account, change your password promptly.
2. Households and members
Household data can be viewed and edited by every member of the household. Share invite codes only with people you trust. Admins can invite and remove members and change household settings.
3. Prohibited conduct
You must not break the law or public order, register other people's information without permission, place excessive load on our servers or network, or interfere with the Service through unauthorized access, reverse engineering or similar acts.
4. Fees
The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will announce them in the Service in advance.
5. Changes and interruptions
We may change the Service without notice, or suspend it temporarily for maintenance or outages. If we end the Service, we will give reasonable advance notice.
6. Disclaimer
The Service helps you record and share household finances; it does not give financial, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of your records and of calculated results such as settlement amounts.
Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damage arising from using or being unable to use the Service.
7. Suspension and leaving
You can delete your account and leave at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate the Terms.
8. Changes to the Terms
We may change the Terms as needed. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you agree to the changed Terms.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
The Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the district court with jurisdiction over our location.
